BVRA Annual General Meeting
When and Where is the AGM this year?
Venue for our meeting on Wednesday 22 April is the Gulf Harbour Yacht Club.
Meeting starts at 7pm. Bar service will be available.
If you are free and can help, please arrive early as we will need to arrange furniture from about 6:40pm.
Attendance
The AGM is open to all eligible members of the Association to attended, either in person or by proxy.
A quorum of fifty percent of members eligible to vote must be present or otherwise represented by proxy.
Owners must have paid their levy in full or have arrangements in place with the Treasurer to be eligible to attend.
Where there is more than one owner per Lot, only one owner is eligible to vote.
What is the AGM for? - Elect a committee to manage the society for the ensuing financial year
- Provide members with information about the past year
- Give updates on the society's current financial status and to advise about changes to annual levies
- Table and seek approval of the 2025/6 FY financial statements
- Outline any plans for the upcoming year
- Seek direction from members regarding issues of concern to the outgoing committee
- Address other business as previously advised to and included in the agenda by the Secretary
